Bushcraft training in South Sweden

TREK REPORT

2 – 10 July 2010 my friend Rob Hofman and I went to Sweden for some instruction in traditional Swedish survival skills by Johan Forsberg of Nordic Bushcraft. We spend some days in the woods near Jöngköping, did the plant walk in Granvik of the Swedish army survival school and did some bushcraft, canoeing and fishing just outside Tivedens national park. Besides the high heat, mozzies and midges, it was good fun eating liken, making knife sheaths, experimenting with the Sami long log fire and catching some pike and perch.
